FUTURE GOALS IN BUSINESS

Presently I am doing a two year diploma in Business, Accounting being my major. Earlier I have completed my Grade 12 education in the Commerce stream. I choose this subject because in future I want to create my own business and become my own boss. I would work for any other company that suits my interests, in an attempt to further develop myself as an individual. I think that presently, my course in Accoounting will play a major role in advanving my future career because now industries are growing in number and Accountants will be in high demand, and will play a major role in these businesses. I hope all goes according to my personal expectations, and those of my family, and perhaps my friends if they are lucky enough to work with me.

Business leader I Admire Most

Sometimes in life, we meet many famous personalities, heroes, etc. who inspire us to be more than that we are. One person whom I truly admire for his visions, creativeness, grit and many other qualities is none other than Steve Jobs. Steve Job is an American business magnet. He is co-founder and chief-executive officer of renowned firm "Apple". He has manufactured many electronic and attractive devices including Macintosh Computers(MAC), I pods, I phones. He used his business strategies very efficiently to expand into many different industries like laptops, desktops, music and cell phones. He is a good reader, as he knows what people want.

MY EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Everyone is ambitious and tries to achieve something which would make him or her to be proudly, though I am too ambitious and tried and still trying to achieve for coming life. At the present time i am pursuing my business administration course .I had done my high school from India. . I think that the educational system of India is very different from Canada, and it is easier in Canada than India. Then I applied to Canada for further studies, and I even cleared my ielts exam before coming here. Now I am doing my 2nd semester at Sheridan, and I have lots of hopes for the future.

Awards and Honours

This is a world of competition and competition makes our work better, helps make us more ambitious, and a great deal more honest. In my life I have always worked hard on every challenge that has appeared in my life, to the best of my personal ability be it: sports, or schooling. I have also received many prizes for quizzes of mathematics and science. We all know that life is a struggle, and if we have to gain success in life, we have to run with time. During my school years I was selected as a captain for my Hockey team, during which our team had won many championships and various prizes. I always wanted to excel in my field, even now when I am doing Accounting, I want to excel in that field and I think that God will help in achieving my goals.

MIS (management information systems) is a general term for the computer systems in an enterprise that provide information about its business operations. In a large corporation, "MIS" refers to a central or centrally-coordinated system of computer expertise and management, often including mainframe store. Companies generate profits from Information systems such as Power point, Emails. Emails are the best communication tool which helps in managing growing businesses. It helps companies to make transaction online, they can discuss their data with their company members and its a good tool to come in contact with their clients and deal with them..It has three key elements.
1. Development and use
2. Information system
3. Business Goals and objectives
This information is being used by me in order to achieve my career goals which will also help me a lot as I m majoring in Accounting, which would be quite easier to communicate with other companies. There are a lot of Management Information Systems used in different fields. A few are as under
:1.Financial Management Information System
Financial management information system provides financial information to all financial managers within an organization including the chief financial officers. The chief financial officer analyzes historical and current financial activity, projects future financial needs, and monitors and controls the use of funds over time using the information developed by the MIS department.
2. Marketing Management Information System
A marketing management information system supports managerial activity in the area of product development, distribution, pricing decisions, promotional effectiveness, and sales forecasting. More than any other functional area, marketing systems rely on external sources of data. These sources include competition and customers, for example.
3. Human Resources Management Information System
Human Resources management information system supports are concerned with activities relate to workers, managers and other individuals employed by the organization. It plays a valuable role in ensuring organizational success. Activities performed by the human resources management information systems include, work-force analysis and planning, hiring, training, and job assignments

I have been using IS on day to day basis and first one of come cross is widely used social network, face book. Face book consist of all five components. Due to the advanced and technical technologies IS is spreading all over the world. No doubt, in order to remain contacted with each other we need hardware to able to access it. Face book is a software designed by professionals and consists of data.
Information System has become a part of our life. It is the best of interacting with technologies on day-to-day basis and has become the biggest source of communication.
In a 24 hour period I utilize information technology that .is Emailing. Emails are the easiest way to keep in contact with families, friends, clients, co-workers, strangers, etc. Emails communicate electronically with computers.

This website gives power to the people to share and make world more open and connected. Face book is considered to be an important IS as millions of people use this to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of Photos and videos, share links,
meet new people and make contact with them

Now a days cell phones has become a fashion and though necessity for almost everyone to purchase which consists of features like web browsing, instant emailing and entertainment all compact in one small machine.It is the easiest way to communicate while walking ,driving etc.Although these are phones but they are the hardware component of IS. As technology advances competition among phone companies are increasing.Cell phone its a mini device in which we can download number of songs and movies too. It is the latest technology which keep us to remain in contacted with our friends.The value of cell phones has augmented the competition in the wireless service, the production of cell phones avail at a very reasonably priced and very easy to utilize. At last, we can say that a phone indeed is an information system and contains all the components.
